Josh

munns

Joshua Munns is the CEO of River Run Construction and was born and raised in east Idaho. He attended BYU Idaho where he studied business before becoming a financial analyst for a private equity group, Gateway Capital Partners.

During his time there, he researched and successfully advised on over 100 investment opportunities giving him the experience, confidence, and passion to operate and grow a business of his own. Soon his position changed at Gateway Capital Partners to advise on the construction projects they acquired. During his career, Josh has successfully managed exclusive and large scale multi-million dollar projects in California and on the island of Maui in Hawaii.

Soon after Josh moved back to Rexburg and with his father, Doug, grew a successful HVAC, plumbing, handyman, and construction company called Doug's Repair. Since becoming partner’s at Doug’s Repair in 2013 they have grown exponentially, starting out with only three employees and now having over thirty!

During this time of growth for him and the company, he met his wife Camie and together they have two boys, Winston and Charlie. Josh continues to find joy in building and construction and the challenges and successes that come along with it at River Run Construction.

Douglas

munns

Douglas Munns is the COO of River Run Construction and was born and raised in east Idaho. In his words, “The Munns family came to east Idaho in 1910, Harry Munns was the first Sheriff of Madison County, and we haven’t gone very far since!”

Douglas attended Ricks College where he met his wife, Debra Munns. They have been married for 45 years and during that time have had six children and now have 16 great grandchildren. Doug worked on the family farm and ranch where he managed 4,000 head of cattle, numerous crops, and a potato warehouse for many years.

During this time he became a self taught handyman, working on different house projects within his home as the ranch was not easily accessible to repairmen.

Often calling a family friend of his who could walk him through furnace repairs. In 1996, Doug started Doug’s Repair, which has quickly grown into a successful and well known business in the east Idaho area. Even still today, Doug enjoys building as well as fishing and riding his motorcycle.
